By default the agent created using the toolkit implements the snmp group of RFC1213 mib. In the snmp group, the snmpInPkts and snmpOutPkts gives the value of the incoming and outgoing snmp packets. On performing the snmpget for snmpInPkts, the agent gives the count value as response The snmpInPkts counter will be in increased when the agent receives packet. On performing the snmpget for snmpOutPkts, the agent gives the count value as response. The snmpOutPkts counter value will be increased when the response is successfully send by the agent.
