This class is associated with Events node in the tree directly. So, whenever Events node is selected, the control comes to setCurrentNodeProperties function. But VIEW-CRITERIA doesn't seem to get applied, I mean the Events panel shows all the Events. As per my understanding, only events for source with name starting from 192 should have been listed.

Please correct me if anything wrong here.

VIEW-CRITERIA="source=192*;"

Please make sure to run DBXmlTool.bat/sh to update the database with the change done in Tree.xml file.

If your requirement is to view the events for source starting with 192 based on the user privileges,
then Custom View Scope ( CVS ) can be used. You can click on Custom View Scope for Group tab in the Security Administration UI. Then click on Add AuthorizedScope and specify the required settings as "source" for the Name and 192* as value.
