Hi
I'm trying to define the alert filter.
I defined the values for my filter through Application Client.
As result of this definition there were changes in the alert.filters file.
But, I can't find the notification.conf file (it doesn't exist).

Is the definitions of my filter in the notification.conf file is essential?
Or may be there is possibility to use my alert filter without definitions in this file?

That's OK.
There is no need to work with notification.conf file

Hi,
Incase if you would like to have some action(s) viz.,sending an email,suppressing an action, sending a trap, running a command or Custom notification, you have to configure the notification. Otherwise, it is not a must.
