Syslog can't receive logs from Windows machine

Hi,

I have installed the Webnms 5.0 + SP1 +Syslog Monitoring Module on a unix machine, and would like to receive some syslogs from remote machines.

I have configured the machines based on the Syslog help doc http://www.webnms.com/webnms/syslog/help/index.html.

In case, the remote machine uses Unix OS, I received syslog successfully. But in case the remote machine is Windows, I can't receive anything. I am sure the windows I am using has WMI installed.

Could you please help me figure out why? Is there any configuration I need to do to make it work? Thanks!

SNMP Property Test and Object Property Test of Application Monitoring Module

Hi,

I try to use SNMP Property Test alone to discovery a application, but didn't fine anything discovered.

I am sure the oid I have used is correct, since I get response when sending snmp request to net-snmp agent. And if I use the SNMP Property test together with a Application Test, the application discovered successfully if the snmp response satisfied the predefined condition.

I wonder, anybody knows whether it is possible to use SNMP Property Test alone? If yes, any suggestion of why mine doesn't work? Thanks!

Can't open Host Resource GUI after installing Application Monitoring Module

I have installed Application Monitoring GUI in Webnms 5.0 + SP1 on unix machine.

The discovery seems to be working fine, all servers can be found.

But when clicking on Host Resources GUI, the GUI jsut hanging without opening anything. The log files I have received is as shown below:
