Enabling Google Maps on WebNMS IoT solutions

All map views in WebNMS IoT applications use Google Maps APIs for the background rendering. To use these APIs, it is required to register and provide the GMap key in the application. Else "InvalidKeyMapError" will be displayed and the map background will not be displayed.

Follow the procedure given below for configuring the GMap key :

In Google Maps Page
1. Generate the GMap Key by completing the wizard in the Google Maps Platform page.
2. In the Google Maps Platform, click the Get Started button.
3. Pick all the three products Maps, Routes, and Places.
4. Click Continue, and provide a project name in the next screen.
5. Click Next and proceed to complete the billing procedure.
In the WebNMS IoT installed product :
1. Click on the Admin tab, and select Configure GMAP Key in the Configuration section.
2. Provide the Key in the GMap Key textbox.

We are happy to announce the release of Service Pack 1 of WebNMS Framework 5.2. This service pack can be downloaded and applied directly over WebNMS Framework 5.2.

Pre-requisites for installing Service Pack 1:
- If you have WebNMS Framework 5.2, then apply WebNMS Framework 5.2 SP1 directly.
- If you have WebNMS Framework 5 + WebNMS Framework 5 SP1, then apply WebNMS Framework 5.2 SP1 directly.
- If you have WebNMS Framework 5, apply WebNMS Framework 5 SP1, and then apply WebNMS Framework 5.2 SP1

We are happy to announce the release of Service Pack 4 of Web NMS 4.7.0.

This service pack is compatible with Web NMS 4.7.0, Web NMS 4.7.0 Service Pack 1, Web NMS 4.7.0 Service Pack 2, and Web NMS 4.7.0 Service Pack 3.

Pre-requisites for installing AdventNet Web NMS 4.7.0 Service Pack 4:

1. If you are using AdventNet Web NMS 4.7.0, 4.7.0 SP1, 4.7.0 SP2, or 4.7.0 SP3 and want to upgrade to the latest, apply Service Pack 4 directly.
2. If you are using AdventNet Web NMS 4.5.0 and want to upgrade to the latest, apply Service Pack 1 of Web NMS 4.5.0 and then apply Service Pack 4 of Web NMS 4.7.0. Note that this setup is equivalent to Web NMS 4.7.0 + SP4.
3. If you are using any earlier versions of AdventNet Web NMS, contact nms-support@webnms.com for assistance in upgrading to the latest version.
